In 2015, Trent Obrigewitsch, who resides in Okotoks Alberta, began to develop the concept for an on-demand mobile fuel delivery directly to the customers location. 

Customers would order either gasoline vehicle refueling or electric vehicle recharging services using the FuelingAround™ App on their mobile device. In a simple hassle-free transaction, this App would manage delivery logistics, customer tracking and credit card payment with the receipt being delivered directly to the customer's inbox. 

Trent understood that traditional gasoline outlets were investing millions of dollars in startup costs before pumping their first tank of fuel. In addition, escalating operational costs for these traditional fuel operators was reducing margins therefore increasing the risk of closing down with huge additional clean-up expenses.
